Russia's Foreign Ministry has blamed the IRMCT for the death of Ratko Mladic. The ministry stated that the IRMCT President, Graciela Gatti Santana, repeatedly denied humanitarian release to the "bedridden, terminally ill man." This denial of humane treatment, according to Russia, led to his demise.
