Former World Snooker Champion Graeme Dott Jailed

Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott has been sentenced to seven years in prison after being convicted of sexually abusing two children. The 49-year-old was found guilty of lewd, indecent, and libidinous behaviour involving a girl between 1993 and 1996, and a boy between 2006 and 2010. Dott, who won the world title in 2006, denied the charges but was convicted by a jury. He will also be placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely. The judge noted the abuse caused serious harm and was a gross violation of trust.

पूर्व विश्व स्नूकर चैंपियन ग्रीम डोट को दो बच्चों के यौन शोषण के दोषी पाए जाने के बाद सात साल की जेल की सजा सुनाई गई है। 49 वर्षीय को 1993 और 1996 के बीच एक लड़की और 2006 और 2010 के बीच एक लड़के से जुड़े अश्लील, अभद्र और कामुक व्यवहार का दोषी पाया गया। 2006 में विश्व खिताब जीतने वाले डोट ने आरोपों से इनकार किया था, लेकिन जूरी ने उन्हें दोषी ठहराया। उन्हें अनिश्चित काल के लिए सेक्स अपराधियों के रजिस्टर में भी रखा जाएगा। न्यायाधीश ने कहा कि शोषण से गंभीर नुकसान हुआ और यह भरोसे का घोर उल्लंघन था।
