FIIs Sell Heavily in September's First Half

Foreign portfolio investors turned net sellers in the first half of September, offloading nearly ₹14,116 crore worth of Indian equities. Financials and auto stocks faced the heaviest outflows, amounting to ₹6,204 crore and ₹2,670 crore respectively. This marks a shift from their buying activity in August. Healthcare stocks, however, saw the highest inflows, indicating a defensive investment strategy amid rising crude oil prices and inflationary concerns.

सितंबर के पहले पंद्रह दिनों में विदेशी पोर्टफोलियो निवेशकों ने भारतीय शेयर बाज़ार से लगभग ₹14,116 करोड़ निकाल लिए। उन्होंने सबसे ज़्यादा फाइनेंशियल और ऑटो शेयरों में बिकवाली की, जो क्रमशः ₹6,204 करोड़ और ₹2,670 करोड़ रही। यह अगस्त के उलट है, जब वे खरीदार थे। हालांकि, हेल्थकेयर शेयरों में सबसे ज़्यादा पैसा आया, जो कच्चे तेल की बढ़ती कीमतों और महंगाई की चिंता के बीच एक सुरक्षित निवेश रणनीति दिखाता है।
