Karnataka Energy Minister K.J. George has directed officials to ensure the 2026 Mysuru Dasara illumination is more attractive and innovative than previous years. Speaking at a preparatory meeting, he emphasized the need for designs that appeal to the lakhs of expected tourists. The minister also instructed officials to make adequate power arrangements to prevent shortages during the festival. Continuous monitoring is required to ensure smooth power supply for the illumination, building on past successes. Additionally, he reviewed progress on KUSUM schemes and consumer grievance redressal.

कर्नाटक के ऊर्जा मंत्री के.जे. जॉर्ज ने अधिकारियों को 2026 के मैसूरु दशहरा की सजावट को पिछले सालों से ज़्यादा आकर्षक और नया बनाने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि डिज़ाइन ऐसे हों जो लाखों पर्यटकों को पसंद आएं। मंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि त्योहार के दौरान बिजली की कमी न हो, इसके लिए पर्याप्त इंतज़ाम किए जाएं। सजावट के लिए बिजली की निर्बाध आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए लगातार निगरानी ज़रूरी है। उन्होंने KUSUM योजनाओं और ग्राहकों की शिकायतों के समाधान की प्रगति की भी समीक्षा की।
