RPF Locks Sealdah Puja Venue, Halting Preparations

Durga Puja preparations at Sealdah Railway Athletic Club have been halted after authorities locked the venue, leaving organizers with little time before the festival. RPF personnel stopped work and locked the park without providing a specific reason to the puja committee. The club has organized the puja at the ground since 1948, and this year's planned London Bridge-themed pandal is now uncertain. The committee faces significant financial losses due to advance payments for the idol and decorations, with stall bookings also cancelled.

सियालदह रेलवे एथलेटिक क्लब में दुर्गा पूजा की तैयारियां रुकी हुई हैं क्योंकि अधिकारियों ने स्थल को सील कर दिया है, जिससे त्योहार से पहले आयोजकों के पास बहुत कम समय बचा है। आरपीएफ कर्मियों ने पूजा समिति को कोई विशेष कारण बताए बिना काम रोक दिया और पार्क को सील कर दिया। क्लब 1948 से इस मैदान में पूजा का आयोजन कर रहा है, और इस साल की लंदन ब्रिज-थीम वाली पंडाल की योजना अब अनिश्चित है। मूर्ति और सजावट के लिए अग्रिम भुगतान के कारण समिति को भारी वित्तीय नुकसान का सामना करना पड़ रहा है, साथ ही स्टॉल बुकिंग भी रद्द कर दी गई हैं।
