Jharkhand MLA Begins Hunger Strike Over Teacher Shortage

Nirsa MLA Arup Chatterjee initiated an indefinite hunger strike on Tuesday, protesting alleged corruption and irregularities within the state education department. निरसा के विधायक अरूप चटर्जी ने राज्य के शिक्षा विभाग में कथित भ्रष्टाचार और अनियमितताओं के विरोध में मंगलवार को अनिश्चितकालीन भूख हड़ताल शुरू की। उनका दावा है कि हाल ही में शिक्षकों की भर्ती के बावजूद, कई ग्रामीण स्कूलों में पर्याप्त स्टाफ नहीं है, और अधिकांश नई नियुक्तियाँ शहरी क्षेत्रों में भेजी गई हैं। चटर्जी का आरोप है कि छात्र-शिक्षक अनुपात के नियमों की अनदेखी की जा रही है और मनमाने तबादलों के लिए पैसों का लेन-देन हो रहा है। उन्होंने उचित शिक्षक तैनाती की अपनी मांगों के पूरा होने तक हड़ताल जारी रखने की कसम खाई है, जिससे वंचित छात्रों की शिक्षा प्रभावित हो रही है।
