Kejriwal Compares Modi to Hitler Over Delhi Protest Crackdown

Times of India · politics

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government over the crackdown on a proposed protest by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Kejriwal accused the authorities of unleashing a "reign of terror" and mistreating protesters, including women, lawyers, and journalists, stating that the actions surpassed even Hitler's atrocities. He warned that the demand for resignations could extend to Modi himself, beyond CEC Gyanesh Kumar. The crackdown saw over 7,000 detentions, prompting a Supreme Court notice to the Centre regarding alleged violations of protest rights.
