State Commission Approves Solar Power Procurement Plan

The State Electricity Regulatory Commission has granted approval for the long-term procurement of solar energy through the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) scheme. This initiative aims to acquire 200 megawatts of solar power. Additionally, it includes the procurement of 100 MW/400 MWh of energy storage capacity. This move is expected to bolster renewable energy sources and enhance grid stability.
