A 52-year-old retired Army Captain, Babu, has been arrested in Vellore for allegedly sharing confidential military information and details about Army equipment with an unidentified woman via WhatsApp. Babu, who served for 28 years, allegedly shared information over the past year after being contacted by the woman. Army officials, alerted by central intelligence agencies, questioned him before his arrest. Investigators are now working to identify the woman and probe potential foreign involvement in the suspected leak.

वेल्लोर में 52 साल के रिटायर्ड आर्मी कैप्टन बाबू को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। आरोप है कि उन्होंने WhatsApp पर एक अनजान महिला को सेना की गोपनीय जानकारी और हथियारों के बारे में बताया। बाबू, जिन्होंने 28 साल सेना में सेवा दी, महिला के संपर्क में आने के बाद पिछले एक साल से यह जानकारी लीक कर रहे थे। केंद्रीय खुफिया एजेंसियों से मिली जानकारी के बाद सेना के अधिकारियों ने उनसे पूछताछ की और फिर गिरफ्तार किया। अब जांचकर्ता उस महिला की पहचान करने और इस जासूसी के पीछे किसी विदेशी हाथ की जांच करने में लगे हैं।
