Himachal Pradesh Suspends Una Doctor After Woman's Death During Childbirth Treatment

The Himachal Pradesh government has suspended Dr. Priyanka Sharma, a medical officer at Regional Hospital, Una, following the death of a 33-year-old woman during childbirth treatment. The family of the deceased, Reena Devi, protested and blocked a highway, demanding the doctor's arrest over alleged medical negligence. Reena was admitted and passed away. An inquiry committee has been formed to investigate the incident, and Dr. Sharma has been directed to report to the directorate of health services in Shimla.

हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने रीजनल हॉस्पिटल, ऊना की मेडिकल ऑफिसर डॉ. प्रियंका शर्मा को 33 वर्षीय महिला की प्रसव उपचार के दौरान मौत के बाद निलंबित कर दिया है। मृतका रीना देवी के परिवार ने कथित चिकित्सकीय लापरवाही के चलते डॉक्टर की गिरफ्तारी की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया और राजमार्ग को अवरुद्ध कर दिया। रीना को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था और उनकी मृत्यु हो गई। घटना की जांच के लिए एक जांच समिति का गठन किया गया है, और डॉ. शर्मा को शिमला में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के निदेशक के कार्यालय में रिपोर्ट करने का निर्देश दिया गया है।
