State-run Sir Sayajirao General (SSG) Hospital in Vadodara has launched a dedicated pain clinic offering specialised care for acute and chronic pain patients. The clinic, inaugurated on World Anaesthesia Day, focuses on minimally invasive and non-surgical treatment options. It will provide individualised treatment for various conditions like back and neck pain, sciatica, arthritis, and post-operative pain. The initiative aims to improve patient mobility and quality of life by avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions, expanding the role of anaesthesiology beyond the operating theatre.
