Man Caught at SGPGI Trying to Rob Elderly Woman of Jewellery

A man was apprehended at the SGPGI's new OPD building in Lucknow on Wednesday for attempting to steal jewellery from an elderly woman. He approached her, claiming a doctor needed to examine her knee and that jewellery was prohibited. The man asked her to remove her jewellery and hand it over to him. A security guard noticed the exchange and intervened, preventing the theft. The woman identified the recovered gold locket and earring as hers. Legal action is being initiated against the accused, identified as Guru Prasad.

लखनऊ के SGPGI के नए OPD भवन में बुधवार को एक शख्स को एक बुजुर्ग महिला से गहने लूटने की कोशिश करते हुए पकड़ा गया। वह महिला के पास पहुंचा और दावा किया कि डॉक्टर को उसके घुटने की जांच करनी है और गहने पहनने की मनाही है। शख्स ने महिला से गहने उतारकर उसे सौंपने को कहा। एक सुरक्षा गार्ड ने इस बातचीत को देखा और बीच-बचाव कर चोरी को रोका। महिला ने बरामद सोने की लॉकेट और बाली को अपना बताया। आरोपी की पहचान गुरु प्रसाद के तौर पर हुई है और उसके खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू की जा रही है।
