The Supreme Court has warned of intervention if frequent protests and security restrictions around Connaught Place continue to impact businesses. Traders claim they are suffering daily losses exceeding ₹250 crore due to these disruptions. The court acknowledged the hardship faced by small traders and stall owners, particularly with upcoming festive seasons like Diwali and Dussehra. While recognizing the right to protest, the bench indicated it would act under constitutional law if businesses are unlawfully affected.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने चेतावनी दी है कि अगर कनॉट प्लेस के आसपास लगातार विरोध प्रदर्शन और सुरक्षा प्रतिबंधों से व्यवसायों पर असर पड़ता रहा तो वह हस्तक्षेप करेगा। व्यापारियों का दावा है कि इन व्यवधानों के कारण उन्हें प्रतिदिन 250 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का नुकसान हो रहा है। अदालत ने छोटे व्यापारियों और स्टॉल मालिकों को हो रही कठिनाइयों को स्वीकार किया, खासकर दिवाली और दशहरा जैसे आगामी त्योहारी सीजन को देखते हुए। विरोध के अधिकार को स्वीकार करते हुए, बेंच ने संकेत दिया कि यदि व्यवसायों को अवैध रूप से प्रभावित किया जाता है तो वह संवैधानिक कानून के तहत कार्रवाई करेगा।
