UK Police Arrest Two Latvian Men at US Airbase

Mint · world

British police have arrested two Latvian men, both in their 30s, on suspicion of trespassing and national security offenses at RAF Molesworth, a US intelligence and analysis airbase. The arrests followed the discovery of a small breach in the perimeter fence. This incident occurred weeks after a separate security scare at RAF Fairford, which houses US bombers. Authorities are investigating both incidents but have found no immediate link between them. The incursions are raising concerns about security at UK bases used by US forces, amid warnings of potential sabotage plots.
