Visakhapatnam Port Authority has achieved a significant milestone, handling 50 million metric tonnes of cargo in a record 196 days during the financial year 2026-27. This achievement is 17 days faster than the previous year and 28 days faster than the year before. The port saw steady growth, including record crude oil discharge and handling of its largest crude carrier. VPA leadership congratulated the teams and expressed confidence in meeting the annual target of 100 MMT.

विशाखापत्तनम पोर्ट अथॉरिटी ने वित्तीय वर्ष 2026-27 में रिकॉर्ड 196 दिनों में 50 मिलियन मीट्रिक टन कार्गो संभालकर एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि हासिल की है। यह उपलब्धि पिछले साल से 17 दिन और उससे एक साल पहले से 28 दिन तेज है। पोर्ट ने लगातार वृद्धि देखी, जिसमें रिकॉर्ड क्रूड ऑयल डिस्चार्ज और अपने सबसे बड़े क्रूड कैरियर का संचालन शामिल है। VPA नेतृत्व ने टीमों को बधाई दी और 100 MMT के वार्षिक लक्ष्य को पूरा करने में विश्वास व्यक्त किया।
