Economic Times - Tech · technology
Indian fintech companies like PhonePe, Razorpay, Cashfree, and PayU are enhancing their cybersecurity measures and automating defenses to combat increasingly sophisticated AI-powered cyberattacks. These firms are shifting focus from intrusion prevention to rapid detection and containment of breaches to safeguard customer data and funds. Cashfree reported a tenfold increase in attempted attacks compared to last year. This heightened vigilance comes as cyberattacks affected numerous Indian financial institutions in October, highlighting the significant risks associated with the massive volume of digital transactions.
