Sonam Wangchuk Hospitalised After 20-Day Hunger Strike

Activist Sonam Wangchuk was taken to a hospital on the 21st day of his indefinite hunger strike at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Wangchuk has been protesting for the protection of Ladakh's fragile ecosystem and its people's rights. He is demanding constitutional safeguards under the Sixth Schedule for the region. His health had deteriorated significantly, prompting authorities to intervene.

लद्दाख के एक्टिविस्ट सोनम वांगचुक को जंतर मंतर पर अनिश्चितकालीन भूख हड़ताल के 21वें दिन अस्पताल ले जाया गया। वांगचुक लद्दाख के नाजुक पर्यावरण और लोगों के अधिकारों की सुरक्षा के लिए प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। वे इस क्षेत्र के लिए संविधान की छठी अनुसूची के तहत सुरक्षा की मांग कर रहे हैं। उनकी सेहत काफी बिगड़ गई थी, जिसके बाद अधिकारियों को हस्तक्षेप करना पड़ा।
