Akhilesh Yadav Alleges Misinformation Campaign Against SP-Congress Alliance
Times of India · politics
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has alleged a misinformation campaign against the SP-Congress alliance, stating that such attempts will only strengthen their support among 'PDA' communities (Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak). He questioned the funding and origin of posters featuring Congress leaders, including one demanding 200 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Yadav asserted the SP's experience in managing alliances and expressed confidence in strengthening their partnership for upcoming elections. The SP and Congress previously allied in 2017 and reunited for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, achieving significant seat gains in Uttar Pradesh.
