Two AAP MLAs Quit Party After First Candidate List Announcement For 2027 Polls

AAP MLAs, Chetan Singh Jouramajra and Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, have resigned from the party's primary membership. Their resignations came a day after AAP released its initial list of 40 candidates for the 2027 Punjab assembly elections. The party had not yet announced candidates for their respective constituencies. Pathanmajra is currently out on bail in a rape case registered last year. These departures represent a significant setback for AAP as it gears up for the upcoming polls.
