Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has expressed reservations about 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi being appointed vice-captain for the Duleep Trophy. Tendulkar believes Suryavanshi should focus on gaining more experience in red-ball cricket before taking on such significant responsibilities. Despite the selection committee's defense, citing Suryavanshi's development, Tendulkar feels it's a premature step. Suryavanshi has played only eight red-ball matches for Bihar. In a separate comment, Tendulkar named Sourav Ganguly and MS Dhoni as his favorite captains.
