एसबीआई कैपिटल मार्केट्स की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया चालू सख्ती चक्र के दौरान रेपो रेट में 75 से 100 आधार अंकों की वृद्धि कर सकता है। अगले वित्तीय वर्ष से नरमी आने से पहले मुद्रास्फीति के उच्च बने रहने की उम्मीद है। रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि आरबीआई की हालिया दर वृद्धि और रुख में बदलाव मुद्रास्फीति को नियंत्रित करने पर अधिक ध्यान केंद्रित करने का संकेत देते हैं। उपभोक्ता मुद्रास्फीति के वित्त वर्ष 27 की तीसरी तिमाही में चरम पर पहुंचने का अनुमान है, जिसमें वित्त वर्ष 28 की पहली तिमाही में नीतिगत बदलाव की संभावना है।
