Young 49ers Defense Steps Up in 32-29 Win Over Seahawks

Hindustan Times · sports

San Francisco's defense, featuring a youth movement, proved crucial in their 32-29 victory against the Seahawks on Sunday. Despite the absence of star Nick Bosa and an early ejection for Dre Greenlaw, younger players like Renardo Green, Gracen Halton, and Malik Mustapha made significant plays. Halton scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery, while Green secured two interceptions. This performance marked the first time since at least 1991 that the 49ers achieved at least three sacks and four takeaways from players aged 25 or younger in a single game.
