Newborn Girl Strangled Inside Madhya Pradesh Hospital's Special Care Unit

A one-day-old infant, the third daughter of a couple, was allegedly strangled to death within the special newborn care unit (SNCU) of Ashoknagar district hospital in Madhya Pradesh. The post-mortem report confirmed the murder, and police are questioning the newborn’s mother and grandmother. Hospital records indicate only these two women had access to the baby in the SNCU. The father had left the hospital earlier. Without CCTV in the unit, police are reviewing other footage to establish the timeline of events.
