AIMIM प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का विरोध करते हुए एलन मस्क द्वारा भारत के प्रधानमंत्री पर सवाल उठाने को चुनौती दी है। ओवैसी ने कहा कि मोदी का विरोध करने का मतलब यह नहीं है कि वह किसी विदेशी द्वारा भारत के राजनीतिक नेतृत्व की आलोचना का समर्थन करते हैं। उन्होंने सवाल किया कि 'गोरी चमड़ी' वाले लोगों का सामना करने पर भाजपा सरकार इतनी घबराई हुई क्यों लगती है। ओवैसी ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि शक्तिशाली विदेशी व्यापारियों के हितों की तुलना में भारतीय नागरिकों और श्रमिकों के हितों को प्राथमिकता दी जानी चाहिए।
