Pushkar in Rajasthan's Ajmer district is a unique religious center where Lord Brahma is worshipped. A legend states that Goddess Savitri cursed Brahma, prohibiting his worship worldwide. However, due to prayers from deities, Pushkar was granted an exception. This is why Pushkar remains the primary and special place for Brahma's worship and temple construction. Goddess Savitri later settled on a hill in Pushkar, where her temple is now a major pilgrimage site.

पुष्कर ही है ब्रह्मा पूजा का एकमात्र स्थान

राजस्थान के अजमेर जिले में पुष्कर एक अनोखी धार्मिक जगह है जहाँ भगवान ब्रह्मा की पूजा होती है। कहते हैं कि देवी सावित्री ने ब्रह्मा को श्राप दिया था कि दुनिया में उनकी पूजा नहीं होगी। लेकिन देवताओं की प्रार्थना पर पुष्कर को छूट मिल गई। इसीलिए ब्रह्मा की पूजा और मंदिर के लिए पुष्कर ही खास जगह है। बाद में देवी सावित्री पुष्कर की एक पहाड़ी पर बस गईं, जहाँ उनका मंदिर अब एक बड़ा तीर्थ स्थल है।
