West Indies head coach Darren Sammy believes the PowerPlay phase has been the decisive factor in their T20I series against India. He noted that while India scores nearly 14.5 runs per over in this phase, West Indies struggles to restrict scoring, forcing them to recover later in the innings. Sammy emphasized that winning both batting and bowling PowerPlays is crucial to defeating India on their home turf. He also defended Roston Chase's inclusion, citing his discipline and defensive bowling mindset as valuable assets to the team.
