The district administration in Balangir has sealed a private college and its hostel for allegedly operating without legal permission. This action followed the circulation of objectionable audio and video clips involving girl students and the institute's owner on social media. A complaint alleging sexual harassment by the owner, Sumit Agrawal, prompted a raid and inquiry by education, child welfare, police, and magistrate officials. The college administration denied the allegations, claiming they were fabricated by outsiders attempting to blackmail the owner.
