Orthodontic Awareness Week Launched in Mangaluru To Promote Teeth and Jaw Health

MOSG has initiated Orthodontic Awareness Week, running to 11. This campaign aims to educate the public on the importance of teeth alignment, jaw care, and timely orthodontic treatment. The initiative aligns with the Indian Orthodontic Society's Diamond Jubilee, celebrating 60 years of orthodontic services in India. Dr. Shravan Shetty highlighted that orthodontic care offers functional and health benefits beyond aesthetics, improving chewing and oral hygiene. MOSG will conduct educational sessions in schools and guidance programs for parents.

MOSG ने ऑर्थोडोंटिक जागरूकता सप्ताह शुरू किया है, जो 11 तक चलेगा। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य लोगों को दांतों के अलाइनमेंट, जबड़े की देखभाल और समय पर ऑर्थोडोंटिक उपचार के महत्व के बारे में शिक्षित करना है। यह पहल इंडियन ऑर्थोडोंटिक सोसाइटी की डायमंड जुबली के साथ मेल खाती है, जो भारत में ऑर्थोडोंटिक सेवाओं के 60 साल पूरे होने का जश्न मना रही है। डॉ. श्रवण शेट्टी ने बताया कि ऑर्थोडोंटिक देखभाल सौंदर्यशास्त्र से परे कार्यात्मक और स्वास्थ्य लाभ प्रदान करती है, जिससे चबाने और मौखिक स्वच्छता में सुधार होता है। MOSG स्कूलों में शैक्षिक सत्र और अभिभावकों के लिए मार्गदर्शन कार्यक्रम आयोजित करेगा।
