Odisha has attracted investment proposals totaling approximately ₹53,894 crore, with the potential to create over 20,000 jobs. NLC India committed ₹37,000 crore to power and minerals, while Larsen & Toubro proposed ₹8,100 crore. Paradeep Phosphates Ltd also pledged ₹4,750 crore for the chemicals sector. These commitments, announced at India Chem 2026 in Mumbai, span various industries including chemicals, power, and textiles. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi engaged with key investors to foster further industrial growth and value-added manufacturing within the state.
