Mumbai Toddler Thrown Down Stairwell by 10-Year-Old Neighbour

An 18-month-old toddler in Mumbai was allegedly thrown down a stairwell by her 10-year-old neighbour after being lured towards a lift. The incident occurred outside their sixth-floor home in Goregaon on October 14. The toddler's brother discovered her body in the basement while searching for her. Police registered a murder FIR against the 10-year-old after initially treating it as an accidental death. The accused child has been released into her parents' care and directed for counselling by the Juvenile Justice Board.

मुंबई में 18 महीने की एक बच्ची को उसके 10 साल के पड़ोसी ने कथित तौर पर सीढ़ियों से नीचे फेंक दिया, जब उसे लिफ्ट की ओर बहलाया गया था। यह घटना 14 अक्टूबर को गोरेगांव में उनके छठे माले के घर के बाहर हुई। बच्ची के भाई ने उसे ढूंढते समय तहखाने में उसका शव पाया। पुलिस ने शुरू में इसे आकस्मिक मौत मानने के बाद 10 साल की बच्ची के खिलाफ हत्या का FIR दर्ज किया है। जुवेनाइल जस्टिस बोर्ड ने आरोपी बच्ची को उसके माता-पिता की देखरेख में रिहा कर दिया है और काउंसलिंग के लिए निर्देशित किया है।
