Pinarayi Vijayan Condemns Police Protection for Alleged RSS Event

Leader of the Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan has strongly condemned the Kerala Police for providing protection to an alleged Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) programme at the Central University of Kerala. He accused the Congress-led government of cooperating with the Sangh Parivar's alleged conspiracy to saffronise higher education and implement communal agendas. Vijayan questioned the university's decision to invite an RSS leader without academic background for a national seminar on ‘Vande Mataram’. He also noted that students who had registered for the event were prevented from entering.

विपक्ष के नेता पिनराई विजयन ने केरल के सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी में कथित राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ (RSS) कार्यक्रम को सुरक्षा देने के लिए केरल पुलिस की कड़ी निंदा की है। उन्होंने कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार पर उच्च शिक्षा को भगवा बनाने और सांप्रदायिक एजेंडे को लागू करने के संघ परिवार की कथित साजिश में सहयोग करने का आरोप लगाया। विजयन ने 'वंदे मातरम' पर एक राष्ट्रीय सेमिनार के लिए अकादमिक पृष्ठभूमि के बिना एक RSS नेता को आमंत्रित करने के विश्वविद्यालय के फैसले पर सवाल उठाया। उन्होंने यह भी नोट किया कि कार्यक्रम के लिए पंजीकृत छात्रों को प्रवेश से रोका गया था।
