Airbnb Ends Guest Chores: No More Dishes or Trash Duty

Aaj Tak · business

Airbnb is changing its house rules policy to ease checkout for guests., guests will no longer be required to wash dishes, take out trash, or strip beds. These tasks, typically done by cleaners, will be prohibited for hosts to request from guests, especially those who have already paid a cleaning fee. The move aims to simplify the checkout process and clarify host expectations. While hosts can still set seven standard rules and some additional reasonable conditions, arbitrary fines for rule violations are now disallowed.
