Europe's largest auto show in Paris is now significantly influenced by Chinese car manufacturers, with around 20 brands present, making up a third of all exhibitors. Companies like Li Auto, BYD, and XPeng showcased luxury features, rapid charging capabilities, and autonomous driving technology. This surge in Chinese presence, up from nine brands two years ago, is causing concern among European automakers and policymakers. Chinese brands now account for 11.3% of European sales, up from 7.1% last year, contributing to job cuts in the European auto sector.
