Revamped Agnipath Scheme Faces Financial Review Amidst Increased Costs

India's revamped Agnipath recruitment model, which offers full-term military service to Agniveers, will undergo a financial review. This change is expected to increase government expenditure due to higher salaries and future pension payouts. Officials stated that funding will not be a constraint, as savings from reduced training costs are anticipated to offset some expenses. The scheme now allows Agniveers who don't become permanent soldiers after four years to serve an additional two years with higher pay.

अग्निपथ योजना में बदलाव, बढ़ी लागत पर वित्तीय समीक्षा होगी

भारत के अग्निपथ भर्ती मॉडल में बदलाव किया गया है, जिसमें अग्निवीरों को पूरी अवधि की सैन्य सेवा मिलेगी। इसकी वित्तीय समीक्षा की जाएगी। उम्मीद है कि इससे सरकार का खर्च बढ़ेगा क्योंकि वेतन और भविष्य की पेंशन ज़्यादा देनी होगी। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि पैसे की कोई कमी नहीं होगी, क्योंकि ट्रेनिंग का खर्च कम होने से कुछ बचत होने की उम्मीद है। इस योजना में अब जो अग्निवीर चार साल बाद स्थायी सैनिक नहीं बनेंगे, वे ज़्यादा वेतन पर दो साल और सेवा कर सकेंगे।
