A decade-long DNA research by BHU Professor Gyaneshwar Choubey and his team has claimed that all Indians, from Dalits to Brahmins, share common ancestors. The study analyzed thousands of DNA samples across various castes and tribes in India. Professor Choubey stated that Brahmins and Kshatriyas were one group 2,000 years ago, and had genetic links with Gujarat's Patel community 3,500 years ago. He further asserted that 8,000 years ago, Brahmins, Kshatriyas, and Dalits all originated from the same ancestors, with a connection to the ancient Santhal tribe.

बीएचयू के प्रोफेसर ज्ञानेश्वर चौबे और उनकी टीम ने एक दशक लंबे डीएनए शोध में दावा किया है कि भारत के सभी लोग, दलितों से लेकर ब्राह्मणों तक, एक ही पूर्वजों के वंशज हैं। इस अध्ययन में भारत की विभिन्न जातियों और जनजातियों के हजारों डीएनए नमूनों का विश्लेषण किया गया। प्रोफेसर चौबे ने कहा कि 2,000 साल पहले ब्राह्मण और क्षत्रिय एक ही समूह थे, और 3,500 साल पहले गुजरात के पटेल समुदाय से उनके आनुवंशिक संबंध थे। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि 8,000 साल पहले, ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय और दलित सभी एक ही पूर्वजों से उत्पन्न हुए थे, जिनका संबंध प्राचीन संथाल जनजाति से था।
