US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has called for the prosecution and jailing of individuals who attacked Washington Post journalist Heidi Levine in the occupied West Bank. Levine was covering the olive harvest when Israeli settlers allegedly assaulted her, stealing her belongings and equipment. The 64-year-old photojournalist sustained severe injuries, including a broken rib and vertebrae, requiring surgery. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested alternative perpetrators, but Huckabee, a strong Israel ally, urged accountability for the perpetrators of this act of terror.
