SIPs Register Record ₹32,490 Crore Inflows In September

Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) participation continued its upward trend in September, registering a record inflow of ₹32,490 crore. This marks the 67th consecutive month of inflows into equity mutual funds, which received a total of ₹38,306.55 crore despite global headwinds. Overall SIP assets now represent 21.6% of the industry's total assets, amounting to ₹17.86 lakh crore. The mutual fund industry's assets under management declined by 5.1% to ₹82.64 lakh crore, primarily due to outflows in debt funds and mark-to-market losses.
