A 52-year-old woman in Karnataka's Mandya district was allegedly strangled to death by her teenage granddaughter and the granddaughter's boyfriend. The victim, Mahadevamma, had reportedly objected to her granddaughter's friendship with Akash, 23, and advised her to focus on her studies. The granddaughter allegedly conspired with Akash to eliminate her grandmother. Police have arrested Akash and sent the minor girl to a correction home. Mahadevamma was reportedly taking care of the minor girl.
