Palestinians Return to Ruined Hebron Homes After 10-Day Israeli Siege

Approximately 3,300 Palestinians have returned to their homes in Hebron, West Bank, following a 10-day Israeli military operation that caused forced displacement. Residents found widespread destruction, vandalism, and tampering in their homes and neighbourhoods. The operation, which followed the shooting deaths of two Israeli soldiers, resulted in the demolition of 15 facilities, including three homes. Many shops were shuttered, and students were deprived of education during the displacement, leaving a significant cleanup and rebuilding task for the community.
