Central Railway Drops Superfast Tag From Six Trains From January 1, 2027

The Central Railway will remove the superfast designation from six trains operating through the Bhusawal division starting January 1, 2027. This change, driven by a revision of average train speeds below 50 kmph due to increased halts, will also eliminate supplementary charges for passengers. The Railway Board has approved the revision of train nomenclature and numbers for these services. Passengers are advised to verify updated train numbers for booking tickets. The affected trains include the Jan Shatabdi Express and Mahanagari Express, among others.

सेंट्रल रेलवे 1 जनवरी 2027 से भुसावल डिवीजन से चलने वाली छह ट्रेनों से सुपरफास्ट का दर्जा हटा देगा। ट्रेनों की औसत गति 50 किमी प्रति घंटे से कम होने के कारण यह बदलाव किया गया है, जिससे यात्रियों के लिए अतिरिक्त शुल्क भी खत्म हो जाएगा। रेलवे बोर्ड ने इन सेवाओं के लिए ट्रेनों के नाम और नंबर में बदलाव को मंजूरी दे दी है। यात्रियों को टिकट बुक करने के लिए अपडेटेड ट्रेन नंबर की जांच करने की सलाह दी जाती है। प्रभावित ट्रेनों में जन शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस और महानगर एक्सप्रेस जैसी ट्रेनें शामिल हैं।
