Actor Imran Khan has filed a writ petition in the Bombay High Court challenging the 'arbitrary, illegal, and unconstitutional' notice issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) asking him to leave India. The US citizen, who holds an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card, argues the notice violates constitutional rights and was issued without due process. The FRRO has also issued a separate notice asking why his OCI card should not be cancelled, giving him 15 days to respond.

अभिनेता इमरान खान ने फॉरेनर्स रीजनल रजिस्ट्रेशन ऑफिस (FRRO) द्वारा भारत छोड़ने के लिए जारी किए गए 'मनमाने, अवैध और असंवैधानिक' नोटिस को बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट में चुनौती देते हुए एक रिट याचिका दायर की है। भारत के ओवरसीज सिटीजन (OCI) कार्ड धारक अमेरिकी नागरिक का तर्क है कि यह नोटिस संवैधानिक अधिकारों का उल्लंघन करता है और उचित प्रक्रिया के बिना जारी किया गया था। FRRO ने एक अलग नोटिस भी जारी कर पूछा है कि उनका OCI कार्ड क्यों रद्द नहीं किया जाना चाहिए, जिसके लिए उन्हें जवाब देने के लिए 15 दिन का समय दिया गया है।
