French President Emmanuel Macron is undertaking a diplomatic mission to the Gulf from October 19-21, visiting Kuwait, the UAE, Bahrain, and Qatar. The primary goals of this tour are to secure oil and diesel supplies to alleviate domestic fuel price pressures and to foster economic cooperation and defence ties. Simultaneously, France is grappling with severe domestic unrest, marked by looting, burning vehicles, and attacks on public buildings, including the historic town hall in Limoges.
