South Korea is demanding a public apology from Ukraine after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy disclosed the transfer of North Korean prisoners of war to Seoul. South Korean President Lee Jae Myung threatened "further measures" if Kyiv does not comply, stating that the disclosure violated an agreement to keep the transfer confidential. This agreement was reportedly intended to protect the POWs. Ukrainian officials, however, deny such an agreement existed and are working to mend diplomatic ties, calling it a "misunderstanding.".
