Health secretaries in Andhra Pradesh have requested the government to merge Swarna Gramam and Swarna Ward health secretaries with the Health and Medical Department. Association representatives submitted a petition to the Visakhapatnam District Collector, citing severe work pressure and mental stress from handling responsibilities assigned by two departments. They are urging Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to intervene in the matter. The association also seeks the removal of unnecessary mobile applications and the OTP system, among other demands.
