Vizianagaram Police Announce Multi-Layered Security For Local Body Poll Counting

Vizianagaram Superintendent of Police A.R. Damodar announced that multi-layered security measures will be implemented at the JNTU-Gurajada Vizianagaram campus, the designated counting centre for local body elections. Separate entrances will be established for polling staff and counting agents, with barricading prioritized at the reception area. Continuous vigilance will be maintained at strong rooms where ballot boxes will be stored, and only authorized personnel will be permitted to open them in the presence of political party representatives.

विजियानगरम के पुलिस अधीक्षक ए.आर. दामोदर ने घोषणा की कि स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों के लिए निर्धारित मतगणना केंद्र, जेएनटीयू-गुर्जरदा विजियानगरम परिसर में बहुस्तरीय सुरक्षा उपाय लागू किए जाएंगे। मतदान कर्मियों और मतगणना एजेंटों के लिए अलग-अलग प्रवेश द्वार स्थापित किए जाएंगे, जिसमें स्वागत क्षेत्र में बैरिकेडिंग को प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी। मतपेटियों को जहां रखा जाएगा, उन स्ट्रांग रूमों में लगातार निगरानी रखी जाएगी, और केवल अधिकृत कर्मियों को ही राजनीतिक दलों के प्रतिनिधियों की उपस्थिति में उन्हें खोलने की अनुमति दी जाएगी।
