Canadian police have arrested five Indian-origin men in connection with an alleged extortion campaign targeting an auto dealership. The 16-month investigation by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) led to charges including extortion, firearms trafficking, arson, and drug offences. Two of the accused, Sanket Singla and Simranjeet Singh, are alleged to have used Molotov cocktails. Investigators are examining potential links to other extortion and violence cases in British Columbia and Alberta, and considering possible connections to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
