TMC Claims Knife Attack Attempt on Former CM Mamata Banerjee

TMC MP Dola Sen has claimed that a woman, allegedly intoxicated and a civic volunteer, attempted to attack former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with a knife. The incident reportedly occurred near Banerjee's residence as she was heading to inaugurate a Durga Puja event. A complaint has been filed at the Kalighat police station regarding the incident. Although the woman was found with a knife and used abusive language, Banerjee was unharmed. The TMC has expressed concern over the security of a Z+ category protectee.

TMC सांसद डोला सेन ने दावा किया है कि एक महिला, जो कथित तौर पर नशे में थी और एक सिविक वॉलंटियर थी, ने पश्चिम बंगाल की पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी पर चाकू से हमला करने की कोशिश की। यह घटना कथित तौर पर बनर्जी के आवास के पास हुई जब वह एक दुर्गा पूजा कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन करने जा रही थीं। घटना के संबंध में कालिघाट पुलिस स्टेशन में शिकायत दर्ज कराई गई है। हालांकि महिला के पास चाकू मिला और उसने अपशब्दों का इस्तेमाल किया, लेकिन बनर्जी को कोई चोट नहीं आई। TMC ने Z+ श्रेणी की सुरक्षा प्राप्त व्यक्ति की सुरक्षा को लेकर चिंता जताई है।
