Russian attacks on Ukraine's Kyiv region have resulted in at least four fatalities, including a child, according to Ukrainian officials. The overnight barrage specifically targeted energy facilities, damaging the power grid and disrupting electricity supplies in and around the capital. DTEK, a major energy company, reported restoring power to approximately 8,000 households while noting grid damage. President Zelenskyy stated that critical infrastructure was also hit in other regions. Russia claimed its strikes targeted energy facilities linked to Ukrainian military production.
