The organization reported that unidentified miscreants damaged the display, which featured freedom fighters and cultural figures, on the night of October 28. The Vedike, dedicated to promoting Karnataka's culture for three decades, condemned the act and urged police to identify and prosecute the culprits. They also highlighted concerns about inadequate CCTV coverage at Modi Circle, requesting enhanced security measures to prevent future incidents.

कर्नाटक रक्षा वेदिके के सदस्यों ने शुक्रवार को दवनगरे में सड़क जाम कर राष्ट्रीय और राज्य के आइकॉन की तस्वीरों को तोड़ने वालों की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी की मांग की। संगठन ने बताया कि 28 अक्टूबर की रात को अज्ञात शरारती तत्वों ने स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों और सांस्कृतिक हस्तियों की तस्वीरों वाली प्रदर्शनी को नुकसान पहुंचाया। तीन दशकों से कर्नाटक की संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने के लिए समर्पित वेदिके ने इस कृत्य की निंदा की और पुलिस से दोषियों की पहचान कर उन पर मुकदमा चलाने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने मोदी सर्कल पर सीसीटीवी कवरेज की कमी के बारे में भी चिंता जताई और भविष्य की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए बेहतर सुरक्षा उपायों का अनुरोध किया।
