A boiler explosion at a steel melting unit in Gummidipoondi's SIPCOT Industrial Estate, Tamil Nadu, has resulted in one guest worker's death and injuries to four others. The injured workers sustained severe burn injuries and have been hospitalised. Police and fire services conducted rescue operations.
